The challenges of the english language

Hello everyone I hope you and your families are well, today I will tell you about my experience learning inside the university and outside the university.

It is true that everything that has happened this year the vast majority would never have imagined, it changed the routine and affected the lives of millions of people around the world, so it will be a year that will never be forgotten within our society. In my opinion all this is horrible and at the same time incredible because I never thought that something like this could happen.

One of the most significant changes for me was the fact that the modality established to continue learning, in the case of English, I used to have classes at the university to perfect the learning of this language, I must say that it was much more It is easy to have this face-to-face class because it allowed me to listen better to what other people spoke in English, what makes it difficult for me to speak it because I don´t consider that my pronunciation is very adequate.

I think that it is not difficult for me to understand English when it is spoken because whenever I watch movies, whether in English or any other language different from mine, I prefer to see them in their original language and with subtitles, and I also enjoy music in English and As I listen to music I try to understand what they are singing, doing that has led me to know many words and forms of expression.

Hello everyone once again, as always I hope you are well and I wish you a good week.

In today's blog I will talk about some changes that could be made in my university study program that, in my opinion, these changes could be beneficial for the student community of the career of psychology, because that is the career that I am Currently studying and I will refer in this blog to the study program of that career.

To start, I found it a bit complex to think about changes that could be made within the study program because I feel that the one that is already in force is in accordance with what needs to be learned to have a good knowledge base on psychology, however I understand that students graduate as general psychologists, so to speak, so it is necessary to take more courses apart to perfect their knowledge in some area of ​​the psychology degree, so it might be a good idea to graduate from the career being a specialist in some area of ​​the career.
I don't want to say that it's bad to continue studying after graduating because I want to, but graduating as a specialist in one area would be interesting to me.

The program of study of the career has a period of time in which you have to take several optional courses in which the students can take the ones that most appeal to them, in my opinion that is very good because not all of them have the same interests when studying psychology since it is an area of ​​knowledge with many different perspectives and approaches.

At the moment I do not think of other changes that could be made to the study program in addition to the one I already mentioned, I have not been studying for long enough to know that other changes would be convenient, I still have a lot to learn.

What will I do after the quarantine?

Hello everyone, I hope you and your families are well.

Today I will talk to you about what I have planned or hope to do after this quarantine is over. First I would like to say that it is a little difficult for me to think about what I will do after the pandemic ends, and along with that the quarantine, because we are not even sure that if an effective cure for the virus was found then we also don´t know what life in society will be like after all this. I believe that the changes that will take place in people's behavior will be very noticeable and will last a long time. Some changes may be for better or for worse, difficult to know.

In my case, at the beginning of this pandemic, I felt a lot of uncertainty because I didn´t know how long we were going to live like this, it is not that now I don´t feel uncertain but it is easier for me to distract myself and do things to spend the days, I have read several books I had pending, I have seen several movies, I try to share with my family although some of them are far away and I have to keep waiting to see them again and I have also tried not to neglect my studies. 

I really don´t have high expectations about what I can do after the quarantine ends, most likely I will go to several places to see my family and friends that I have not seen for a long time because of the quarantine.

Postgrads Studies

Hello everyone, I hope you are having a good day and I wish you a good week.
 Today I will talk to you about the postgraduate courses that I will possibly study or want to study after graduating from psychology, which is what I am studying now.
First of all, it seems to me important to mention that these are just ideas of what I could study in the future, the truth is that I am still not sure what direction my life will take once I have graduated, I don´t think much about it now due to the fact I am experiencing a worldwide health emergency, so I am used to living day by day.

After graduating I would like to study another language, it could be Portuguese or French because they are very interesting languages, at least for me, and if I have the opportunity to learn them in any country that speaks that language, I would really love it. I would also like to develop more skills within psychology, so I would do a postgraduate degree in sexology or clinical psychology, I am interested in these two fields because they will allow me to develop more skills to understand people from different points of view.

 I would both like to study them in Chile, but if I had the opportunity to study in another country I would most likely choose Spain.
I would try to study these courses in person or online as long as they gave me the opportunity to have some free time to work while doing whatever it takes to pay for these studies.

About the "job"

The meaning of the word job varies for me, because for some people it is something exciting and motivating instead for other people it is overwhelming and stressful, in this way we realize that not everyone has the opportunity to work in something that really I am passionate about that, in my case I plan to work in something that I really like, where I can learn more and more and, most importantly for me, that through work I can help many people.

 To start I would like to work on something directly related to what I am studying, I will work as a psychologist, I will like to work on this because I will have the opportunity to listen to people, who have various types of conflicts in their lives, and I will be able to help them think better about the things and life. The skills I need for this are only those that my motivation gives me, because without motivation I think I could not do anything, or at least I think so.

Now the reward I hope to get for doing this job is nothing more than the assurance of supporting and helping people who need it, I may not always work as a psychologist but I want to work helping people to be well and to know themselves in Every job I have because I believe that well  being with oneself is the main thing to have a better life.

Films

Hello everyone I hope you are having a good day, afternoon or night, this time I will tell you about the cinema and its films, I will mention one that I saw a few days ago and that I quite liked is called Seven or "The 7 Deadly Sins" in its translation into Spanish.

First of all, it is worth saying that I quite like cinema, and I enjoy watching movies of all kinds whenever they catch my attention, I find it beautiful and wonderful how stories are represented through movies, because in movies any story can be act out no matter how unreal or fantasy your story is.

Returning to the movie I mentioned earlier, Seven is about how a detective who is about to retire to spend his old age in a field quietly, is involved in a mysterious murder case that will have to solve and find the culprit, to This is helped by a novice and impulsive detective, "Mills" who will be of help to you. The peculiarity of these murders is that they are directly related to the 7 deadly sins (hence the name in its Spanish translation).
I recommend this movie, I liked to see it

The best holiday

Hoping that they are well I will tell you one of the best experiences I have had and that was when I went camping, in February of this year, for a week with my family to a mountain near the place where we live, the place was very close to “Radal Siete Cups National Park” but it was not exactly where we camped, the closest city is called “Molina” is a small commune in Chile located a little south of Curicó. In that adventure I was with my mother, my sisters, their children and some friends, it was very entertaining because we learned to do many manual things in addition to enjoying the tranquility of nature, also every afternoon we went out to walk on the trails that were in the On the way to discover new places and landscapes, at night around a campfire we talked about many things and told stories about other places we had known or experiences of our lives.

This is a trip that surely I will never forget for everything I shared and lived it was very pleasant and allowed me to know a little more about the people I love
